Gumi Plant
Gumi Plant is the main plaint of KOLON Industries equipped with an integrated manufacturing system from polymerization process to final products. With 40 years of polymer technology and expertise, this large-scale complex has the top-of-the-line production operating system.
Using proprietary technology, Gumi Plant has been producing electronic and advanced chemical materials, such as aramids, as well as PET films, tire cords, long fiber non-wovens, aramids, Prism films for LCDs, Colorless Polyimide Film and IT chemical products.

Gimcheon Plant for Chemical devision of KOLON Industries specializes in manufacturing PET films (optical, industrial, and packaging purposes), nylon films (food packaging, balloons, etc.), and Dry Film Photo-Resist films, and will play an important role in helping shape the future of KOLON Industries

Gimcheon2nd Plant of Kolon Industries has global competitiveness to produce phenolic and epoxy resins. It enhances competitiveness to meet customer needs by providing various physical properties through the system of batch type production for phenolic resins and semi-continuous type production for epoxy resins. Gimcheon 2nd Plant is doing its best to provide great value to the customers through cooperation and innovation of Kolon family.
Gimcheon Plant #2 produces phenol resin and epoxy resin based on differentiated technology and know-how.

Ulsan Plant
Ulsan Plant of KOLON Industries is the first hydrocarbon resin plant in Korea, which aims to become the “world’s best plant leading hydrocarbon resin technology,” by implementing such strategies as creating an integrated management system, systematizing technology for the globalized production base, and developing digital human resources that create high-value products.
To deliver customer satisfaction with excellent quality and competitiveness, the plant is producing C9 aromatic hydrocarbon resin (HIKOTACK®), C5 aliphatic hydrocarbon resin (HIKOREZ®), and hydrogenated DCPD resin (SUKOREZ®).
