UNGC (UN Global Compact)

We have been a member company of UNGC since 2018. UNGC is the world's largest voluntary corporate citizenship initiative that encourages companies to internalize their core values of human rights, labor, environment, and anti-corruption into their operational and management strategies to enhance sustainability and corporate citizenship.

SBTi (Science Based Targets initiative)

The Science-Based Targets Initiative is a voluntary initiative to strengthen corporate climate action by providing guidance and methodologies for setting science-based greenhouse gas emissions reduction targets in line with the Paris Agreement objectives. We are currently at the ‘Committed’ stage after joining in 2021.

We joined Responsible Care in 1999, which is an international movement led by chemical companies to protect the environment and human health throughout the life cycle, from the development stage to manufacture, sales, distribution, and disposal of chemicals.

WPC(World Plastic Council)

Global Plastic, which we joined in 2019, is an organization composed of global plastic manufacturers in Asia, Middle East, America, and Europe to deal with global issues. It supports global agreements to address plastic pollution, and deals major items like marine waste plastic problems and collection, recycling, and conversion of solid waste to energy.

CDP(Carbon Disclosure Project) is an international non-profit organization established in the UK in 2000, and requires and analyzes the disclosure of information related to environmental management of companies around the world.

Ecovadis evaluates the sustainability of companies across five areas (CSR, environment, labor & human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement) and awards medals to each scores.(Top 1%: Platinum, Top 5%: Gold, Top 15%: Silver, Top 35%: Bronze)

Since 2011, KCGS has been evaluating the level of sustainable management of domestic listed companies every year through ‘ESG evaluation’.
